School Community Tree - A Collaborative Art Project

In order to help facilitate a sense of community during this challenging time, the Lower School is doing a collaborative art project together. We are making a symbolic tree which represents the school, and the leaves which represent the indevidual students.

Each student was asked to create a hand that demonstrates what their special gift is as a member of the school community. Everyone is unique and adds value to the school. Their gifts include qualities such as humor, kindness, creativity, calmness, positive attitude, and being a good listener, among others.

The tree is still growing (I am still receiving hands being sent in from home during drop off/pick up days) and is currently displayed on the bulletin board outside the lower school office.
