Mythical Creatures 2022

I just wanted to share a couple of the most impressive examples from our Mythical Creatures project this year. These kids spent about 3 months working on these.

They started by using their iPads to find reference material to draw one animal. Then they added parts from other animals or subtracted parts from the original. Next, they added a background habitat that would made sense given their physical attributes. They got extra credit for adding shading and texture to make the drawing more realistic. Fantastic!
