Line Families and Color Mixing, Oh My! - Kindergarten

Kindergarten started out the year in art class learning about the three line families: Straight, Curved and Angled. We then created a painting with black using those lines. When it was dry we added color to the closed spaces or "shapes" created by overlapped lines. Our next task was to experiment with color mixing. Colors were mixed using a palette to create scondary colors: green, purple and orange. We added white at the end to see what happens to the colors. Tada, such a variety of beautiful shades!
