Exploring Color Mixing

Recently the JK'ers mixed orange, purple and green using primary colors to create a Jack 'O Lantern scene. And, now they are learning what happens when white is added to one of these secondary colors (a tint is created). In this case, I provided white and yellow so that they could see how to mix a bright green versus a dull green.

As you can see, they were really concentrating.

She's "in the zone". :)

Happy kids being creative! The results of their exploration are beautiful, vibrant abstracts that I would like to hang in my house! :)
